Texworld USA promises exciting return to Javits Convention Center in January 2016

Dec 28, 2015

Winter 2016 highlights include a record number of exhibitors, new ApparelSourcing pavilion and the first annual Texworld USA Cutting Edge Awards

Once again taking place at the Javits Convention Center in New York City, the winter 2016 edition of Texworld USA will open its doors to exhibitors and attendees alike on Sunday, January 24th, 2016. Continuing through Tuesday, January 26th, the expansive show promises to be the most exciting edition yet, with a record number of exhibitors, the most diverse product offering to date, and the debut of the annual Texworld USA Cutting Edge Awards.

Texworld USA Winter 2016 will feature a record 331 exhibitors representing 15 countries, including: USA, China, Peru, Portugal, United Kingdom, Colombia, Pakistan, Korea, Japan and India. Dedicated country pavilions include Taiwan and Turkey, and continuing the fruitful show partnership, Lenzing Innovations' pavilion will return to the show floor with 19 exhibitors focused on incorporating sustainable fibers into a wide range of product categories.

Attendees will have the opportunity to source for every type of product line – women, men, juniors and children’s wear – accross a total of 15 product groups. Texworld USA's winter 2016 product offering includes: cotton, knits, silk, embroidery, fibers, functional fabrics, wool, lace, prints, silky aspects, accessories and trims, polyester/man-made, yarns and an expanded denim offering.

Of the 331, 107 of the exhibiting companies will show at the co-located International Apparel Sourcing Show, the dedicated sourcing tradeshow for finding the best domestic and international apparel manufacturers. For the first time during the winter edition the show will welcome a Guatemala pavilion with five new exhibitors. Best known for performance fabrics and sportswear, companies like Nylontex, Startex, and Pralin will round-out the already diverse resource offering for attendees sourcing finished apparel, contract manufacturing and private label development.

In addition to exciting new exhibitors, the Texworld USA winter 2016 edition will also feature the first annual Texworld Cutting Edge Awards. Recognizing the most pioneering and forward-thinking products each season, the Texworld Cutting Edge Awards will spotlight the best of Texworld's international exhibitors across seven categories, including: "temperature control", "environmentally-friendly processing", "best booth design", and more. Winners in each category will be recognized for their achievements in innovation during a live awards ceremony taking place during the show on Monday, January 25th, 2016.

"We not only want to highlight some of the most innovative products and technological advances available at Texworld USA for our attendees, we also want to encourage our exhibitors to continue to develop these cutting edge products by shining the spotlight on their valuable contributions to the industry," said Dennis Smith, President, Messe Frankfurt North America.
