Texworld USA continues to attract new mills from across the globe

This summer’s show continues to welcome a diverse group of first time exhibitors

The nineteenth edition of Texworld USA will offer upwards of 500 exhibitors from 13 countries during the summer edition located in the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. While familiar faces will be present, buzz is generating around the first time exhibitors that bring fresh products and functions to the show floor from every corner of the world.

UCAN ZIPPERS USA- United States
Joining Texworld USA for the first time this summer is Los Angeles based company UCAN Zippers USA. The second generation family owned business has been operating for over 25 years and is the last remaining zipper manufacturer in the United States. Producing locally allows UCAN to make changes on the fly to insure the quality that their customers have grown to expect since they were founded in 1995. The company offers many capabilities and has the ability to duplicate most any design. Their products have been used in quality designs and distributed all over the world.

Fabrica De Hilos Y Productos Varios S.A “Fahilos”- Colombia
Founded in 1949, Fahilos is positioned as the leader in Colombia in the field of textile ribbons. Their mission is to provide “ribbons that adorn”. The company presents collections that combine designs, textures and materials with the highest standards, creating innovative ribbons for clothing. Currently they are exporting products all across Central and South America, Fahilos looks to enter new markets using contacts made in July at Texworld USA.

Telio- Canada
Family owned and operated since 1952, Telio offers designers, manufacturers and retailers a superior quality, original product tailored to their specific needs. Telio is at the forefront of distribution in North America, participating in international markets with five show rooms and a team of 30 representatives all over the world. Offering a beautiful array of fabrics which include polyester, knits, cotton and prints. Telio is not-to-be missed on the exhibition floor.

Acarer Tekstil San Tic Ltd Sti- Turkey
Acarer Tekstil is a family owned company with dobby and jacquard looms and a dying facility in house. The company produces jacquards for ladies jackets, trousers, skirts, and offer fast service for far eastern plains in a wide variety of colors. Specializing in polyester, the company also offers lace, cotton and prints.

Mingleum Co., Ltd. - Taiwan
For over 20 years, Mingleum, located in Taipei, has been devoted to product development, purity of design and the marketing of laces, fabrics and accessories for bridal gowns, evening dresses and fashion wears. Mingleum offers embroidery, re-embroidery, sequin fabric, raschel lace, jacquard lace, venise lace and netting. They pride themselves on innovation and keeping up with ever changing fashion trends.

Milano Unica New York co-locates
The international textile fair, Milano Unica New York will co-locate with Texworld USA at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York. The two fairs will overlap during NYC Textile Week.

Milano Unica New York will deliver a high caliber of Italian fabric manufacturers that are targeting some of fashion industry’s top designers, retailers and buyers from the US market. The co-location with Texworld USA will benefit the attendee through the vast product offering from both events. NYC Textile Week will also include Milano Unica New York which will support the gathering of the different textile and apparel trade shows that will be represented in July.

Texworld USA participates in NYC Textile Week
Texworld USA is the largest sourcing event in North America for apparel fabric buyers, research and product development specialists, designers, merchandisers and overseas sourcing professionals. The nineteenth edition of Texworld USA will take place July 21- 23, 2015 at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York City and will be co-located with the sixth edition of the International Apparel Sourcing Show and Home Textiles Sourcing Expo.

The summer edition of Texworld USA will be a founding supporter of the anticipated grand launch of NYC Textile Week held in July of 2015. NYC Textile Week is an innovative concept that will establish New York as “the” destination for textile and sourcing professionals in the global fashion, home and related industries. The NYC Textile Week alignment of textile and fashion trade shows, including Texworld USA, Kingpins Show, MRket and Milano Unica will create assorted textile offerings for attendees visiting from countries around the world. NYC Textile Week was soft launched in January 2015 with great success
